This is a role for a very hands on Site Manager with at least 6 years experience of large Tunnelling schemes. You will be site based and will be working on a United Utilities project where they are working on AMP 8. You will be looking after almost £30M worth of work which will involve the sinking of four shafts using a pipejacking technique. These shafts will be 1200 – 1500 in diameter and to a depth of 60 metres. The role will be focused on the health and safety element which you will have ownership and control over, the procurement of plant and materials, quality control and financial control. You will be looking after an engineering and a mining gang and you will be reporting into the Operations Director.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you should have experience working as a Site Manager or a Site Agent for a UK-based major infrastructure contractor. Your work history should be stable, having worked at your previous companies for a number of years.

This opportunity is a permanent position. No freelancers can be considered.
