Job description

My client are a regional groundwork contractor. They are looking to onboard a site manager for new contract they have been awarded in Manchester. As the site manager on site, you will be responsible for overseeing all groundwork operations and looking after after a small reinforced concrete package.

Site manager responsibilities:

• Working alongside and reporting to the contracts manager.

• Managing day to day site operations.

• Managing plant, labour and materials.

• Managing health and safety.

• Detailed record keeping.

• RAMS.

• Task briefings.

• Liaising with the client and other subcontractors on site.

• Progress meetings.

Site manager requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

• SMSTS.

• First aid.

• Strong knowledge and experience of groundwork and reinforced concrete.

• IT literate.

• Full UK driving licence.
