Astute's Renewable team is partnering with a business focused on advancing the country's renewable energy sector. They are seeking to recruit a Site Manager to oversee their sites in the Manchester region. The role offers a salary of up to £65,000 plus a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Report to the Project Manager and supervise daily site activities, including construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance tasks.
2. Conduct site inspections to ensure safety compliance and assess environmental impact.
3. Oversee health and safety of staff on site.
4. Draft and prepare reports for construction progress and client updates.
5. Maintain logs related to incidents and progress.

Professional Qualifications

• Valid Site Management Safety Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
• Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
• PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
• Experience with Renewable Energy Technologies such as Solar, EV, LED, or Air Source Heat Pumps.

Personal Skills

• Excellent communication skills, even under pressure, with the ability to build relationships on site.
• Proven problem-solving abilities.
• Interest in Renewable Energy Technologies.

Salary and Benefits
