Job summary

Bridgeman Recruitment Services Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee renewable energy and improvement works across social housing projects. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors and ensure safety, quality and programme compliance on occupied sites.

The role requires strong health and safety knowledge, CSCS/SSSTS, SMSTS and First Aid, with excellent communication and organisational skills to liaise with residents, housing associations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction.
• Experience on social housing/housing association projects.
• Experience on renewable energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of site health & safety requirements.
• SMSTS and First Aid required.
• CSCS/SSSTS or relevant site management qualifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties/sites and subcontractors.

• Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage materials, deliveries and resources.
• Deal professionally with residents and minimise disruption while works are being carried out.

Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee renewable energy and improvement works across social housing projects.

The successful candidate will have previous experience managing construction projects within occupied or social housing environments, ideally with a strong understanding of renewable energy installations and energy-efficiency improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site operatives.

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction.
• Experience working on social housing / housing association projects.
• Previous experience of renewable energy projects, such as solar PV, air-source heat pumps, energy-efficiency upgrades or similar schemes.
• Strong knowledge of site health & safety requirements.
• SMSTS and First Aid required.
• CSCS/SSSTS or relevant site management qualifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple properties/sites and subcontractors.
