Job Description: Site Manager

Location: Magherafelt and Belfast

Salary: £45k + van

My client is a leading Construction company based in NI, looking for an experienced site manager with previous residential experience.

The role is suitable for someone with 5+ years of experience, including residential construction. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in developing your skills and gaining further experience as a Site Manager within our Construction Engineering department.

Projects include student accommodation and social housing apartments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and control the project from the design stage through to completion and handover to the client.
• Manage unforeseen delays to ensure project timeline adherence.
• Regularly monitor progress and liaise with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager on the Master Programme and develop stage/section programmes as needed.
• Coordinate with the Contracts Manager/Project Manager to ensure adequate labour and sub-contractor resources are available on site, utilizing the approved agency list.
• Manage daily site operations to ensure successful project completion within time, budget, and quality constraints.
• Plan and organize site facilities and logistics efficiently, ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and operated by trained staff.
• Undertake relevant training and development activities.
• Assist in recruitment and selection processes when required.

Education / Experience

• Experience as a lead Site Manager on housing projects.
• Strong personnel management skills.
• Site Management Safety Pass (SMSTS).
• Detailed previous project list.
