Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an ongoing temporary contract in Coalville, overseeing retrofit, solar PV, and decarbonisation works. You will lead day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance on energy-efficient projects in occupied and void properties.

The role requires a strong track record in retrofit schemes, CSCS Gold or Black Card, and the ability to start immediately.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for an ongoing contract based in Coalville, overseeing works within the retrofit, solar panel installation and decarbonisation sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on Site Manager with a strong track record of delivering energy efficiency and sustainability projects within occupied and void residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day site operations ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage subcontractors, trades and labour on site.
• Ensure all health & safety regulations and site compliance requirements are adhered to.
• Coordinate retrofit, solar PV and decarbonisation works.
• Liaise with clients, residents and project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and progress reporting.

• Strong background in retrofit and decarbonisation schemes
• Valid CSCS Gold or Black Card
• Excellent health & safety knowledge
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to start immediately
