Job summary

Caval Limited seeks an experienced Site Manager for an Lab fit‑out project in Leeds. Immediate start for a 4–6 month duration with a pay rate of £330 per shift (Umbrella PAYE). You will lead day‑to‑day site operations, coordinate M&E trades and manage subcontractors to meet programme targets.

Essential skills include SMSTS, CSCS Black/White and First Aid. The role requires strong H&S, RAMS discipline and effective liaison with the client and design team.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification required.
• CSCS Black/White Card required.
• First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Full site management responsibility.
• Management of day‑to‑day site operations and programme delivery.
• H&S, RAMS, inductions & toolbox talks.
• Coordination and supervision of all subcontractors and direct labour.
• Management of M&E and specialist trades throughout the fit‑out.
• Liaising with the client, project manager and design team.
• Monitoring progress against programme and reporting any delays.
• Quality inspections, snagging and ensuring works are completed to specification.
• Maintaining accurate site diaries, progress reports and photographic records.
• Managing material deliveries, logistics and site housekeeping.
• Ensuring compliance with building regulations and company procedures.
• Chairing site coordination meetings and driving programme performance.
• Supporting the successful handover of completed areas to the client.

• Laboratory fit‑out experience preferred but not essential
