You'll be trusted to manage projects from site, leading construction teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring every stage of delivery meets quality, safety, programme and commercial objectives. This is a varied leadership role where you'll work closely with project teams while making a real difference to the communities your projects serve.

You'll join a supportive and collaborative environment where professional development is encouraged, innovation is welcomed, and safety always comes first.

  • Planning labour, plant and materials in line with construction programmes.

  • Managing subcontractors and monitoring site performance.

  • Supporting commercial performance through effective cost control and Early Warning processes.

  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and resolving issues before they impact delivery.

  • Coordinating highway possessions, private land access and stakeholder engagement.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with local communities, clients and project teams.

  • Reporting progress and performance to the Project Manager.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous leadership experience within the construction industry.

  • A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and quality management.

  • Commercial awareness and experience managing project costs and construction programmes.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • A full UK driving licence.

You'll be someone who leads by example, motivates others, and is committed to delivering projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
