Job Description:

ACR is working in partnership with a Tier One Developer / Contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join their Construction Team.

The project is a multi-phase scheme, all RC frame with circa 300 units to be completed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage a construction site to ensure the development is completed on time, to specification, and safety regulations, while complying with company and construction standards.
• Ensure all quality and safety inspections are within standards and carried out according to guidelines.
• Coordinate activities with external third parties, such as warranty providers, local authorities, and utility companies to ensure the build programme is achieved.
• Maintain accurate records for the development, including staff inductions, health, safety, environment, timesheets, incident reports, and quality control checklists.
• Ensure materials are called off in a timely manner, checked, and stored according to guidelines.
• Direct and supervise the workforce, including subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to quality standards, and within budget.
• Work with other departments like Sales and Customer Care to meet targets and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Ensure site workforce and visitors comply with health, safety, and environment policies to minimize incidents.
• This role involves travel across various sites in the region and occasional trips to other group offices.

Required Experience

• Experience in the house building industry is essential.
• Understanding of NHBC, LABC, or Premier standards.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Current CSCS Card.
• SMSTS certification is preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.
• Qualified to minimum NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management is preferred.
