Main Purpose of Job

Managing a team of Site Services Engineers – delegating and prioritising maintenance works.

As the Site Service Manager, you will be responsible for all:

• Gas Systems
• HVAC Systems
• Drainage & Effluent
• Building & Facilities
• Infrastructure
• Boiler and Steam systems
• Compressed air systems
• Organising and managing all third-party contractors
• Managing all compliance across the site and carrying out regular inspections (e.g., legionella levels)
• Looking at ways to improve overall site efficiency, such as reducing energy consumption and waste management
• Managing related projects and continuous improvement programmes
• Ensuring all maintenance activities are properly documented
• Complying with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times
• Ensuring all Department Systems & Policies are in place and adhered to
• Maintaining safety & quality standards
• Monitoring Technical Systems to support 'due diligence' in food safety or quality issues

Qualifications:

• Time Served, qualified to minimum HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline
• Good communication skills with the ability to manage a team of engineers and contractors

Experience:

• Experience in a senior Site Services, Utilities, or Facilities role, preferably with knowledge of the manufacturing industry
