Job summary

Constructive Moves Ltd. is seeking a capable Site Manager for a large commercial new build in Ipswich.

You will take full operational responsibility for delivery of curtain walling installations on site, coordinating on-site activities with emphasis on safety and quality, while managing subcontractors and liaising with the project team. Ideal candidates will have 10 years’ on-site experience in roofing, cladding or glazing, with an HND or Degree in construction or engineering, CSCS Management

Qualifications

• 10 years on-site experience in roofing, cladding, glazing or related discipline.
• CSCS Managers card and First Aid certificate preferable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work without supervision.

Site Manager East Anglia

Up to 60,000 plus package

Roofing and Cladding Sub-Contractor

Our client is a growing building envelope specialist in the UK offering the complete design, supply and installation of integrated envelope and facades packages and celebrating a number of major project wins. They are looking to strengthen their project team with a capable and experienced Site Manager, experienced in curtain walling to work on a large commercial new build in Ipswich.

With an extensive portfolio of cladding projects including commercial & residential projects with typical contracts varying from 2m through to 10m they seek a key member of the devlevry team. This Site Management position requires excellent communication and management skills to co-ordinate site based activities, to maximise the efficiency and add value to the project. You will be fully conversant with planning activities safely, having direct responsibility for all activities carried out on site and you must be able to implement the business management system procedures and provide a professional approach to all aspects of the project.

Reporting to the Project Manager your duties will be to take full operational responsibility for the delivery of curtain walling installation on site including making every effort to ensure that works proceed in a safe manner and that all employees adopt the "Don't walk by" attitude to ensure the site is a safe place for everyone to work.

Required Attributes and Experience

The ideal Site Manager will have a 10 years experience working on site on projects with relevant discipline experience including roofing, cladding, glazing etc. Ideally you will be HND or Degree qualified in a construction or engineering related discipline with a CSCS Managers card and either a relevant First Aid certificate. Preferably you will be computer literate with programming and planning experience, have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work without supervision and to use your own initiative and experience to fulfil the company's commitments.
