Site Manager

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Package
Location: Lindfield, West Sussex

The Company

An established residential developer is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their growing construction team in Lindfield. The business delivers high-quality residential developments and has built a strong reputation for creating well-designed homes while maintaining high standards of build quality, health and safety, and customer satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager who wants to join a successful housebuilder with a strong pipeline of upcoming developments.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a residential development, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

The Site Manager will coordinate subcontractors, manage site programmes, monitor progress and ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications and building regulations. You will work closely with commercial, technical and customer care teams throughout the development.

Key responsibilities will include managing health and safety, organising labour and subcontractors, monitoring programme performance, carrying out quality inspections and ensuring properties are completed to a high standard prior to handover.

Required Experience

The successful Site Manager will have previous experience managing residential construction projects, ideally working for a recognised housebuilder or residential developer.

You should have strong knowledge of traditional residential construction methods and be confident managing projects from groundwork through to completion.

• CSCS Management Card
• First Aid at Work
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or a similar construction qualification
• Good working knowledge of NHBC standards and UK Building Regulations

Strong communication, organisation and subcontractor management skills are essential.

Salary & Package

The successful Site Manager will receive a salary of £50,000 – £60,000, alongside a competitive company benefits package.
