Overview

Enfield Academy of New Waltham wish to appoint a self-motivated, reliable, multi-skilled, proactive and organised Site Manager to fulfil this key role associated with the smooth running of the Academy.

Responsibilities

• Premises management and health & safety compliance; maintenance and security of the building and grounds.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the site to provide a welcoming, safe and secure environment for pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
• Take responsibility for ensuring full compliance with current health and safety legislation.
• Undertake routine maintenance, including painting and decorating, DIY and general repairs.
• Attend occasional meetings, events and parentsrom evenings outside core hours; flexibly contribute to such occasions.
• Respond to emergencies outside of school hours; a full driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or in the building trade is desirable but not essential.
• Strong ICT, literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping.
• Ability to relate well to children and staff and interact with them in a friendly and positive manner.
