The team…



You will be leading a team delivering Strategic maintenance, Adaptions, M&E, all other miscellaneously funded works across Capital / Domestic and Commercial buildings across the borough of Gateshead. You will be part of a wider Construction department responsible for over 18,000 social housing properties.







About the role….



You will be working as a Site Manager and your main duties will be undertaking the day-to-day supervision and co-ordination of employees and subcontractors, Health and safety, delivering a responsive service to Clients & customers 8am to 8pm, that focuses on right first-time to maximise customer satisfaction and value for money. You will oversee employee performance and other related issues within Council guidance and legislation by carrying out regular competency and work quality checks to ensure targets and budgets are met

You’ll be paid a competitive salary £37,938 to £40,476 pa

You will receive an annual leave entitlement starting at 28 days per year (pro-rata for part time employees) rising to 32, 2 of which may be fixed by the council at any time. You also have the chance to buy up to 10 additional holidays per year.
