Job summary

Vistry Group is seeking a Site Manager for our North Midlands development in Great Haddon, Peterborough. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage teams, coordinate resources, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to the required quality standards.

The role emphasizes in-person collaboration with some flexible working considerations. You will drive safety, manage stakeholders, and contribute to a high-performing site team across NHBC and building regulations adherence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations to meet specifications, timelines and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Direct labour, equipment and resources to complete projects on time.
• Monitor project progress and address delays or risks promptly.
• Conduct site inspections for quality, safety and progress.
• Coordinate with Buying and Surveying teams for timely procurement of materials and services.
• Attend weekly meetings with the site sales executive.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join our team within Vistry, at our North Midlands for our development in Great Haddon, Peterborough. As our Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will manage teams, coordinate resources, enforce health and safety regulations, and liaise with contractors, suppliers, partners and customers.

• Ensure 100% compliance with NHBC standards and building regulations.


• Conduct appraisals and address development needs with HR support.


• Ensure a harassment-free work environment.
