Pear Tree Community Junior School is seeking a proactive Site Manager starting September 2026. The role is full-time, year-round, with responsibility for maintaining a safe and well-presented school environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Pear Tree Community JuniorSchool is looking for a motivated, energetic and organised individual to become our Site Manager.We are seeking an individual who is proactive and highly motivatedandwill take pride in maintaining a safe, welcoming and well-presented school environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
The successful candidate will be practical, organised and able to work on their own initiative, identifying and addressing issues. They will have a strong commitment to maintaining high standards across the school site, ensuring that buildings, grounds and facilities are clean, secure, compliant and fit for purpose.
Excellent problem-solving skills, a positive attitude and the ability to manage a varied workload are essential. The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking and take ownership of the school environment, demonstrating a genuine pride in creating a school that pupils, staff and the wider community can be proud of. We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, builds positive relationships with others and is always willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Experience of premises management, health and safety requirements, building maintenance and contractor management would be advantageous. Above all, we are looking for someone who is approachable, flexible and committed to supporting the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of our school.
