Job summary

Randstad CPE Reading team is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and fit-out of a new site within a major residential development in Didcot. You will manage the final stages/fit-out, direct internal trades (M&E, joinery, flooring) to keep the programme on track, and take full responsibility for site safety and the site diary for the duration of the cover.

SMSTS, First Aid at Work and Black CSCS Card are required; you must be able to start at short notice for a 2–4

Qualifications

• Experience managing non-residential or community buildings within a housing scheme is desirable.
• Mandatory SMSTS, First Aid at Work and Black CSCS Card.
• Must be able to start at short notice and commit to 2–4 weeks.
• Professional approach and eye for detail.

Job description

Randstad CPE Reading team is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction and fit-out of a new site within a major residential development in Didcot.

• Job Title: Site Manager
• Location: Didcot (OX11)
• Pay: upto £290.00 per day
• Duration: 4 weeks cover

This is a key phase of the project, and we require a manager who can step in immediately to maintain momentum and ensure high safety standards on-site.

About the Role:

• Managing the final stages/fit-out of a community-use building.
• Directing internal trades (M&E, joinery, flooring) to ensure the programme stays on track.
• Full responsibility for site safety, inductions, and maintaining the site diary for the duration of the cover.
• Providing daily updates to the Project/Contracts Manager to ensure a seamless handover.

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing non-residential or community buildings within a housing scheme is highly desirable.
• Valid SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and Black CSCS Card.
• Must be able to start at short notice and commit to the full 2-4 week
• A professional approach and eye for detail are essential.
