Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced site manager to lead external and internal plan maintenance projects for social housing. Based with projects around Norwich and surrounding areas, you will join a permanent role within their planned works division and drive delivery to high standards.

You will manage subcontractors and direct operatives, lead the site team, ensure works meet specification, and perform pre- and post-inspections while upholding health, safety and quality checks.

Qualifications

• A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.

External Plan Maintenance Projects - Social Housing

Up to £55,000 Plus Package

Our Client, a leading nationwide construction contractor are currently looking for an experienced site manager to join their planned works division on a ten year framwork.

Projects that are being delivered will are internal and external plan maintenance projects. They will be being delivered to tower blocks and scattered properties in Norwich and the surrounding areas.

On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties:

• Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives
• Lead the site team to the best of your ability
• Manage delivery of works to specification
• Have several direct reports to manage including RLO's and office staff
• Pre & post inspections of works
• Health & safety & quality checks

My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering planned maintenance projects. A valid SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS, and Asbestos Awareness are required.

This is a permanent position which will offer training and development as well as good progression opportunities for the successful candidate.
