Job summary

Equans is looking for a Site Manager to join our Dudley team on a permanent, full‑time contract. You will lead the site team, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and work closely with the Delivery Manager to keep projects progressing.

You will monitor daily repairs, order materials, and ensure KPIs and safety standards are met. Regular inspections, strong client relationships, and clear communication are essential to keep repairs on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• NVQ4 or equivalent maintenance qualification.
• SMSTS and CSCS cards held.
• First Aid and health and safety qualifications.
• Proven experience in a site supervisor/manager role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management.
• Excellent problem-solving to resolve on-site issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee site team with Delivery Manager.
• Monitor daily repairs and KPI compliance.
• Inspect for project specifications and standards.
• Maintain relationships with client and stakeholders.
• Escalate issues to Delivery Manager when needed.
• Manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
• Measure for component installation (windows, doors, glazing, kitchens, and bathrooms).

Job description

Equans is looking for a Site Manager to join our team in Dudley on a permanent contract. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week.

What will you deliver?

• Responsible for the coordination and successful delivery of repairs and maintenance
• This role involves overseeing the site team with conjunction with the Delivery Manager
• The Site Manager is accountable for monitoring daily repairs for further works, including ordering materials, monitoring progress of repairs ensuring that KPIs are met in compliance with all relevant regulations
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Maintain strong relationships with client other stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the repairs process
• Address any concerns or requests promptly
• Make decisions to keep repairs on track, escalating issues to the delivery manager when necessary
• The role of a Site Manager involves advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple repairs simultaneously
• Good understanding of repairs and maintenance contract, technical expertise, and the ability to measure for component installation, window, doors, glazing kitchens and bathrooms

Who are we looking for?

• NVQ4 or equivalent qualification in maintenance
• Professional certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS card)
• First Aid certification and relevant health and safety qualifications
• Proven experience in a site supervisor or manager role within the construction industry
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
• Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing subcontractors and site operatives
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with experience in resolving complex on-site issues
