Job summary

Equans is seeking a Site Manager for a permanent role in Dudley. You will lead the site team, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and ensure projects meet specifications, standards, and KPIs. The role includes managing subcontractors, materials, and safety practices on site.

Qualifications

• NVQ4 or equivalent in maintenance.
• SMSTS and CSCS cards.
• First Aid certification and health and safety qualifications.
• Proven experience as a site supervisor or manager within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing subcontractors and site operatives.
• Excellent problem solving abilities, with experience in resolving complex on-site issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver repairs and maintenance on site.
• Oversee the site team with the Delivery Manager.
• Monitor daily repairs and order materials to meet KPIs.
• Conduct regular inspections for specifications and standards.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder communication.
• Address concerns promptly and keep repairs on track.
• Escalate issues to the delivery manager when necessary.
• Manage multiple repairs simultaneously with proactive problem solving.
• Understand repairs and maintenance contracts and measurement for installations.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Site Manager to join our team in Dudley on a permanent contract. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package Scope of works: Level access showers for Dudley MBC.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination and successful delivery of repairs and maintenance.
• Overseeing the site team in conjunction with the Delivery Manager.
• Accountable for monitoring daily repairs for further works, including ordering materials, monitoring progress of repairs ensuring that KPIs are met in compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Maintaining strong relationships with client and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the repairs process.
• Addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Making decisions to keep repairs on track, escalating issues to the delivery manager when necessary.
• Managing multiple repairs simultaneously and providing advanced problem solving skills.
• Having good understanding of repairs and maintenance contract, technical expertise and the ability to measure for component installation (window, doors, glazing, kitchens and bathrooms).
