We are seeking an Experienced Site Manager for a freelance role in Doncaster. The role starts ASAP and offers potential for permanent employment.

Company Overview

Our client is a national 5-star house building contractor specializing in residential developments, constructing 3-5 bed homes across the country. They are expanding and developing new sites, requiring an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on a new build project.

Responsibilities
  1. Report progress to the Project/Contracts Manager, ensuring adherence to the project programme.
  2. Maintain health & safety standards, including PPE, site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, work permits, and equipment inspections.
  3. Ensure quality standards are met, managing defects, specifications, materials, workmanship, and subcontractor conduct.
  4. Maintain a clean and safe site environment.
  5. Lead and coordinate the site team effectively.
  6. Assist in preparing the Health and Safety file and update the Construction Phase Health & Safety plan as work progresses.
  7. Liaise regularly with clients, consultants, contract administrators, and head office.
  8. Manage site facilities, including welfare, toilets, offices, and the site compound.
  9. Assist in managing project preliminaries and coordinate subcontractors.
  10. Prepare and assist with site progress reports.
  11. Ensure the safe storage and proper coordination of materials.
  12. Complete site documentation accurately and on time.
  13. Attend project and company meetings.
  14. Address resident and public complaints efficiently.
Qualifications

Candidates should be confident in managing a construction site, with strong communication and computer skills.
