Job summary

WPS is seeking an experienced Site Manager in the Crawley area to lead multiple refurbishment and maintenance projects. You will manage site teams and subcontractors, delivering works safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key requirements include SMSTS or SSSTS certification, strong leadership and communication skills, and commercial awareness to drive successful project outcomes. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with opportunities to progress into Contract Manager or Operations

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of multiple building and refurbishment projects, leading site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing day-to-day site operations across refurbishment and maintenance projects
• Leading and motivating operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensuring excellent standards of health & safety, quality, and compliance
• Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Monitoring programme delivery, productivity, and performance
• Working closely with commercial teams to deliver successful project outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience managing construction, refurbishment, or housing maintenance projects
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
• A commitment to delivering excellent customer and client outcomes
