Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a school refurbishment project in Coventry. The role involves managing refurbishment and M&E works in a live school environment, with a focus on safety, schedules and budgets.

You should hold valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates and be capable of coordinating multiple contractors and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results in a live environment.

Qualifications

• Proven site management experience in refurbishment and M&E works.
• Experience working in live environments, preferably in school settings.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates; Basic DBS check.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Site Manager – School Refurbishment Project

Location: Coventry (CV2)

Start Date: Monday 27th July 2026

Duration: Temporary

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a school refurbishment project in Coventry starting Monday 27th July. A live school environment will be involved, with pipe repairs, radiator replacements and general mechanical refurbishment works.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all refurbishment and mechanical works within the school.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders to maintain a safe and functional school environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience in refurbishment / M&E works.
• Experience working in live environments.
