Job summary

Invision Group in Congleton is seeking an experienced Site Manager (Lead) to own a £2m industrial construction project, currently at earthworks, with an immediate start. This hands-on role requires leading the site, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering through to completion.

You will manage health and safety, quality, and stakeholder liaison, with lodging provided as part of the package and a focus on meeting programme milestones. This is a high-responsibility, on-site leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, labour and site activities
• Manage the project from earthworks through to completion
• Coordinate groundworks, drainage, foundations, steel frame, cladding and external works
• Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and programme
• Manage site health & safety, RAMS, inductions and toolbox talks
• Monitor progress and ensure programme milestones are achieved
• Coordinate deliveries, materials and site logistics
• Liaise with the client, consultants, subcontractors and project team
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively
• Ensure the site is kept safe, organised and compliant throughout

Site Manager (Lead) Required - Congleton | £2m Industrial Project | Immediate Start | £60K + Lodgings + Package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager (Lead) to take ownership of a £2m industrial construction project in Congleton. The project is currently at earthworks stage, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join at an early point and take the lead through the key construction phases through to completion.

This is a hands-on Site Manager position where you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management, coordination and delivery of the project, working closely with the Project/Contracts Manager and client team. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in industrial, warehouse, logistics or commercial new-build projects and be comfortable managing works from groundworks through to completion.
