Job summary

Vibe Recruit are recruiting on behalf of an established organisation within the energy efficiency sector to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee residential energy retrofit projects across West Wales.

Location: West Wales. Salary: £40,000 plus Company Van and Fuel Card. Permanent, Full Time. Must hold SMSTS and First Aid at Work, with a full UK driving licence and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience within energy retrofit projects.
• Strong knowledge of EWI and PAS 2030.
• SMSTS qualification is essential.
• First Aid at Work is essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in social housing/local authorities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities across retrofit projects.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality and timeliness.
• Oversee EWI, roofing and structural repair works.
• Ensure PAS 2030 and health & safety compliance.
• Carry out site inspections and manage documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, suppliers and tenants.
• Coordinate toolbox talks, risk assessments and site inductions.
• Monitor progress and resolve site issues to minimise delays.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities across retrofit projects.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee External Wall Insulation (EWI), roofing and structural repair works.
• Ensure compliance with PAS 2030 and health & safety requirements.
• Carry out regular site inspections and manage site documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, suppliers and tenants.
• Coordinate toolbox talks, risk assessments, method statements and site inductions.
• Monitor progress and resolve site issues to minimise delays.

What We're Looking For

• Previous Site Management experience within energy retrofit projects.
• Strong knowledge of EWI and PAS 2030.
• SMSTS qualification - essential.
• First Aid at Work - essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
