Vibe Recruit are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to oversee residential energy retrofit projects in the Newport area. The role requires SMSTS and First Aid at Work, with strong knowledge of EWI and PAS 2030, and a track record of delivering quality work on time.

Based in Newport, the position offers a permanent, full-time contract with a company van and fuel card. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for coordinating with clients, tenants and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Management experience within energy retrofit projects.
• Strong knowledge of EWI and PAS 2030.
• SMSTS qualification - essential.
• First Aid at Work - essential.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Social housing/local authority experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities across retrofit projects.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee External Wall Insulation (EWI), roofing and structural repair works.
• Ensure compliance with PAS 2030 and health & safety requirements.
• Carry out regular site inspections and manage site documentation.
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, suppliers and tenants.
• Coordinate toolbox talks, risk assessments, method statements and site inductions.
• Monitor progress and resolve site issues to minimise delays.
