Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Site Manager for a prestigious Design & Build project based near Canterbury. You will lead day-to-day site activities, coordinate subcontractors and materials, and drive delivery to programme with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You’ll be comfortable working away from home Monday to Friday, with all travel, accommodation and Living Away From Home Allowances provided. A proactive leader with several years on large concrete builds will excel.

Qualifications

• Several years of Site Management experience on large projects.
• Experience building large concrete structures.
• Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills.
• Proactive problem solving on site and safety-focused leadership.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements for complex builds.

Responsibilities

A highly respected Design & Build contractor is entering an phase of growth and is recruiting an experiencedSite Managerto join a new large project starting.

Autonomy

You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel, driving short-term planning, sequencing works and resolving issues before they impact productivity.

Leadership

You’ll lead from the front, creating a positive site culture while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, workmanship and client satisfaction.

Work away and save

The project is based in Regional Canterbury, so you’ll be comfortable working away from home Monday to Friday. All travel, accommodation and Living Away From Home Allowances are provided, allowing you to focus on the project while enjoying your weekends back at home.

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and naturally leads by example. Ideally you’ll have:

• Several years of Site Management in New Zealand
• Experienced building large concrete structures
• Good planning, coordination and organisational skills
• A proactive approach to solving problems on site
• Excellent knowledge of NZ health and safety requirements
• A positive and supportive leadership style
