Job summary

Kier Group's Kier Transportation team in Brackley is seeking a Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major infrastructure project on the A43, managing engineering resources, ensuring technical compliance, and delivering safely, on time, and to high quality standards.

You will build strong relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders, implement health, safety and environmental policies, and report progress and compliance regularly.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications
• HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering
• Temporary Works Co-ordinator/Supervisor qualification
• First Aid certification

Job description

We're looking for a Site Manager to join our Kier Transportation team based in Brackley South Cutting (A43).

Location:

Radstone Road, Whitfield, Northants, NN13 5GJ

Hours:

45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a significant infrastructure project on the A43, involving the construction of a new structure and supporting highway assets. You'll be responsible for managing engineering resources, ensuring technical compliance, and delivering the project safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards while maximising customer satisfaction.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Site Manager, You'll Be Working Within The Kier Transportation Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Complex Infrastructure Projects. Your Day To Day Will Include

• Leading and motivating engineering teams to ensure safe, timely, and quality project delivery
• Managing resources effectively to achieve technical compliance with design specifications
• Building strong relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders
• Implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
• Monitoring project performance and providing regular reports on progress and compliance

What are we looking for?

This role of Site Manager is great for you if:

• You have strong experience in health, safety, and environmental management
• You hold SMSTS and CSCS qualifications
• You have an HNC/HND/Degree in Construction or Civil Engineering
• You hold a Temporary Works Co-ordinator/Supervisor qualification and First Aid certification
• You hold a Full driving licence
