Job summary

Hayesfield Girls' School is seeking a proactive Site Manager to lead site operations in Bath. You will work with the senior leadership, oversee estates staff, and ensure the site is compliant, safe, secure and well-presented for staff, students and visitors.

The role requires facilities management experience, health & safety knowledge (NEBOSH/IOSH preferred), and strong contractor coordination, with a local government pension scheme as part of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management.
• Experience managing staff and third parties/contractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular operational meetings with the Business Manager and Head of Estates.
• Prepare and monitor planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Provide guidance to site teams to meet health and safety and statutory compliance.
• Ensure security arrangements are in place.
• Oversee inventory of building assets and project manage capital works.
• Conduct performance management of site staff.
• Ensure safe systems of work and risk assessments are in place.
• Maintain water hygiene, fire safety and electrical safety records.
• Observe COSHH and health and safety regulations.
