Job summary

Hayesfield Girls' School is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to lead and support our site team, ensuring the building is safe, compliant and well maintained for staff, students and visitors. You will work with the Business Manager and Head of Estates to deliver planned maintenance and capital projects across two sites.

The role requires NEBOSH or IOSH qualification or equivalent, extensive facilities management experience, and the ability to manage staff and contractors while maintaining high

Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
• Experience in Facilities Management.
• Experience managing staff and third parties/contractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Valid driving license.
• Good ICT skills.

Responsibilities

• Hold regular operational meetings with the Business Manager and Head of Estates.
• Prepare and monitor planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Provide guidance to site teams to meet health and safety and statutory compliance requirements.
• Ensure security arrangements are in place.
• Oversee the creation of accurate inventory for the physical building assets of the school.
• Project manage capital projects and advise on progress.
• Conduct performance management of site staff.
• Ensure safe systems of work and risk assessments are in place.
• Maintain water hygiene records, fire safety records, and electrical safety records.
• Ensure COSHH and Health and Safety regulations are observed.
• Ensure site is clean and well-kept at all times.
• Experience in working in an educational environment is desirable.
• Experience managing budgets.
