Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of a major SHDF social housing programme across Basingstoke and Farnborough. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to high quality standards.

You will lead subcontractors and installation teams, coordinate works across occupied properties, build strong relationships with residents and client stakeholders, and produce progress reports

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Manager in social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofit.
• Experience managing works within occupied residential properties.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and site management procedures.
• Full UK driving licence.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card and First Aid at Work certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, direct labour and installation teams on site.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities across occupied properties.
• Monitor programme delivery, quality standards and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and quality checks.
• Ensure works meet client specifications and company procedures.

• Work with Resident Liaison Officers to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage site logistics, materials and resources efficiently.
• Produce progress reports and programme updates.
• Support delivery of project KPIs and commercial targets.
• Promote a culture focused on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, residents and client stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive customer experience throughout project delivery.,

• Managing subcontractors, direct labour and specialist installation teams.
• Planning and coordinating daily site activities across occupied properties.
• Monitoring programme delivery, quality standards and health & safety compliance.
• Undertaking regular site inspections, audits and quality checks.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with client specifications and company procedures.
• Building positive relationships with residents, client representatives and internal stakeholders.
• Working closely with Resident Liaison Officers to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
• Managing site logistics, materials and resources effectively.
• Producing progress reports and programme updates.
• Supporting the successful delivery of project KPIs and commercial targets.
• Promoting a positive culture focused on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Experience working as a Site Manager within social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofit projects. (Desirable)
• Experience managing works within occupied residential properties. (Essential)
• Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site management procedures.
• Experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor. (Desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence. (Essential)
