Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Site Manager for a large I&L project in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The role involves taking the project from external works through to fit-out across four new build warehouses valued at around £55m. An interview is planned for next week with start in early September.

You will oversee commercial fit-out and steel frame work, liaising with the client and coordinating multiple subcontractors to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• CSCS Gold certification is required.
• SMSTS qualification is required.
• First Aid at work certification is required.
• Industrial construction experience is required.
• Valid driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project is completed on time, within budget and to high safety standards.
• Liaise with Client and provide regular updates.
• Provide regular progress reports to Senior PM on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure on-site personnel meet high standards.
• Manage day-to-day operational duties.
• Improve operations, reduce turnaround times, and streamline processes.
• Develop and deliver progress reports and troubleshoot issues.
• Update and manage the programme using specialist software.

Site Manager

Safe to say the market has definitely picked up in 2026 and it has led me to recruit for a Site Manager for an large I&L project based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The interview process will be next week with a start week commencing the beginning of September.

About the role:

The project started around mid April and only early works has been done so far, we need someone to take the project from external works through to the fit out. It consists of x4 new build steel framed warehouses worth around £55m all in. The project requires a commercial fit out as well as the new build steel frame. Packages also include piling, groundworks, steel frame, cladding, roofing and window installation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards
• Key liaison with Client, ensuring Client is regularly updated
• Regular progress reporting to the on site Senior Project Manager
• Effective management and co-ordination of subcontractors and ensure all personnel on site conduct their duties to the highest standards.
• Manage day to day operational duties
• Continually improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Develop and deliver progress reports, analyse results and troubleshoot problem areas
• Update and manage the programme using a specialist software
