Job summary

Willmott Dixon is recruiting a Site Manager year-out student to join our Midlands team for 12 months, starting August/September 2027, on a project based in Warwick. You will follow a structured training programme with a mentor and join our trainee programme, progressing into a career in construction.

You must be currently studying a Construction Management, Site Management or Construction Project Management degree, have the right to work in the UK, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Construction Management, Site Management or Construction Project Management.
• Right to work in the UK and a valid driving license.
• Seeking a year-out or industry placement as part of university course.
• Some exposure to construction (work experience, placement or similar).

Responsibilities

• Join a structured training programme with a mentor to guide progress.
• Gain experience by working with site teams on flagship projects.
• Balance work with continued education and degree funding.
• Develop practical experience through real project responsibility.
