Job summary

Wates Group is offering a Site Management (Production) Trainee opportunity in the UK. You will work on construction projects, gaining hands‑on experience under site managers and project teams across various sites.

You will develop understanding of site operations, health and safety, planning, quality management and stakeholder coordination, with access to mentoring and structured training as part of a construction apprenticeship pathway.

• For some locations, a full UK driving licence may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day management and coordination of construction activities on site.
• Promote and uphold health, safety, wellbeing and environmental sustainability standards.
• Work with subcontractors and supply chain partners to meet project requirements safely and efficiently.
• Develop relationships with clients, designers and project teams to aid delivery.
• Assist with planning and monitoring project programmes to deliver on time and within budget.
• Support site meetings, progress reporting and project coordination activities.
• Gain knowledge of digital construction tools and technologies used in delivery.
