Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a skilled Gas Safe engineer to join our maintenance team at a holiday park. You will perform heating and plumbing duties, reactive repairs, and general handyman tasks while upholding our hospitality-focused standards.

Applicants should have a valid Gas Safe certification, a clean driving licence, and experience in repairing and maintaining park facilities. LPG knowledge is advantageous for on-site systems.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Gas Safe engineer; LPG advantageous.
• Experience in heating engineering and plumbing, including reactive repairs.
• Good organisational and planning skills required.
• Driver with a clean licence; repair and maintenance experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Connect sited accommodation: water, drains and LPG gas.
• Take on urgent, short-notice jobs without major schedule impact; cover call outs when needed.

• Carry out fault-finding in varied settings.
• Transport tools, parts and stock around the park using a company vehicle.
• Be a friendly face to guests, owners and holidaymakers.
• Complete other maintenance tasks including small plumbing and electrical issues and general handyman duties.
• Adhere to manufacturers’ regulations and guidelines when servicing equipment.
• Provide information to update records.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Check on list of jobs assigned at agreed times and carry them out
• Connect sited accommodation, both water, drains and LPG gas (supplied via bottle or underground propane system)
• Take on any urgent, short-notice jobs without major impact on job schedule and cover call outs if necessary.
• Examine any reported faults then repair them to a high standard, sourcing any parts required and recording action taken
• Carry out fault-finding in a mixture of settings
• Transporting tools, parts and stock around the park using a company vehicle
• Be a friendly face of the company when talking to guests, owners and holidaymakers
• Be able to complete other maintenance tasks on a daily basis i.e., accommodation repairs like small plumbing and small electric issues and general handyman duties. This is a requirement for this position due to the nature of our environment and our holiday park setting
• Adhere to manufacturers’ regulations and guidelines when repairing or servicing equipment
• Provide information to allow records to be updated
