Job summary

East Anglian Civil Engineering is recruiting for a Site Engineer to join the Sizewell C project in Suffolk. You will set out earthworks, drainage, ducting and kerbing works, read drawings and maintain site records, and work with site management to deliver safe, accurate works.

The ideal candidate has previous Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer experience, strong background in earthworks and infrastructure, and is competent with Total Stations and GPS.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer.
• Strong background in earthworks, drainage, ducting and infrastructure projects.
• Competent using Total Stations and GPS equipment.
• Experience working from technical drawings and specifications.
• QA/QC experience.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Setting out for earthworks, drainage, ducting and kerbing works.
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Carrying out QA/QC inspections and documentation.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Undertaking as-built surveys.
• Working closely with Site Management.
• Ensuring work is delivered safely, accurately and to specification.

Site Engineer Sizewell C, Suffolk

East Anglian Civil Engineering is currently recruiting for Site Engineers to join a major civils package on the Sizewell C project in Suffolk. You will be involved in a range of infrastructure works including:

• Earthworks Drainage Duct installation Kerbing General civil engineering works This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects and secure long-term work on a high-profile scheme. The Role Setting out for earthworks, drainage, ducting and kerbing works Producing and maintaining accurate site records Carrying out QA/QC inspections and documentation Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Undertaking as-built surveys Working closely with Site Management Ensuring work is delivered safely, accurately and to specification
• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer or Setting Out Engineer
• Strong background in earthworks, drainage, ducting and infrastructure projects Competent using Total Stations and GPS equipment Experience working from technical drawings and specifications QA/QC experience Valid CSCS Card Full UK Driving Licence
• Desirable Previous Sizewell, Hinkley Point, highways, utilities or major infrastructure experience
• Ideally will be security vetted for Sizewell C Managers and Professionals ticket Experience on large-scale civil engineering projects
• Important Information The work is located inside the main Sizewell C site fence. Access to the working area is via the project's designated transport system, with personnel travelling to and from site using the project bus service each day. Candidates must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the required Managers & Professionals Card for site access.
