Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Site Support Coordinator to assist the project team with materials, equipment and site logistics, ensuring safe, efficient operations on a busy UK site.

You will manage deliveries, stock, tool issuance and plant hire, working alongside project managers, engineers and operations, with a proactive, organised approach and strong safety focus. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a construction, electrical or mechanical environment.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive and organised approach to work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the temporary site services team with day-to-day operational activities.
• Loading and unloading deliveries.
• Checking deliveries for quality, quantity and damage.
• Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate records.
• Issuing materials, PPE, tools and consumables to site teams.
• Arranging plant hire, acceptance and off-hire processes.
• Assisting with tool and equipment calibration management.
• Maintaining a safe, secure and organised stores and yard area.
• Supporting waste recovery and segregation activities.
• Preparing work areas to support project delivery.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and operational teams.
