Job summary

Equans in the UK is seeking a Site Manager to join our Norfolk team on a full-time basis. You will oversee day-to-day construction activities, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure profitability and client satisfaction.

The role requires refurbishment experience in social housing, strong leadership, and a full UK driving license. You will liaise with Contracts Managers and clients, uphold Health & Safety standards, and report progress regularly.

Qualifications

• Extensive site management experience in refurbishment projects.
• Experience with residents in occupied social housing.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracts Manager with project pre-start activities and client meetings.
• Provide monthly progress reports to the Contracts Manager and client.
• Ensure health & safety compliance, PPE, inductions, risk assessments and permits.
• Conduct scaffold, lifting equipment, and SHEQ inspections.
• Maintain site safety, tidiness, and Health & Safety documentation.
• Manage defects, quality standards, and compliance with project specifications.
• Lead, support, and develop site teams and subcontractors.
• Liaise with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, consultants, clients and stakeholders.
