Manpower UK is seeking an experienced Site Facilities Manager for a manufacturing site in Workington, Cumbria. The role drives the delivery of essential utilities, building maintenance and infrastructure, while leading site services teams and coordinating with Engineering and Production to maintain safety, compliance and efficiency.

You will identify improvements to increase asset availability, reduce waste, and lower energy use, supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading facilities and maintenance in a manufacturing site.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Good knowledge of health, safety and environmental standards.

Responsabilités

• Ensure site facilities and engineering services meet statutory, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Oversee the safe, reliable supply and distribution of site utilities.
• Maintain buildings and infrastructure to meet food safety, health and safety standards.
• Manage engineering stores and stock control practices.
• Lead internal teams, contractors and service providers, promoting safe working practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, reduce waste and energy use, and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain planned preventative and predictive maintenance programmes and CMMS records.
• Coordinate daily and weekly maintenance activities and review equipment downtime.
