The Role

As a Site Hygiene Manager - Days, you will lead and manage site-wide hygiene operations across a high-care food manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for driving exceptional hygiene standards, leading large teams across multiple shifts, supporting audits and customer visits, and delivering continuous improvement across the site. You will play a vital role in maintaining food safety, compliance and operational performance while developing people and building a high-performance culture.

What you'll be doing as a Site Hygiene Manager

• Lead and manage hygiene operations across day and night shifts
• Oversee, develop and motivate a large hygiene team, including managers
• Ensure full compliance with retailer, food safety and regulatory standards
• Drive continuous improvement of hygiene systems and site standards
• Lead audit preparation, staging and hosting activities
• Support operational improvement and turnaround initiatives across the site

What we are looking for in a Site Hygiene Manager

• Proven hygiene leadership experience within high-care food manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of major UK retailer standards and food manufacturing compliance
• Experience managing managers and leading large operational teams
• HACCP qualified with a minimum Food Safety Level 3 certification and working knowledge of COSHH
• A track record of ownership, accountability and delivering operational results
