Job summary

Barfoots is seeking a Permanent Site Hygiene & Facilities Operative to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our Sefter Farm site. You will be responsible for routine cleaning of welfare facilities, toilets, offices and shared spaces, keeping records and restocking consumables.

Shifts include day and night options, with 4 on/4 off pattern. Training opportunities, pension and a sustainability-focused employer with Investors in People Silver accreditation are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintenance in a production or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and records.

Responsibilities

• Clean welfare facilities, changing rooms and communal areas.
• Maintain toilets, washrooms and rest facilities.
• Clean offices, corridors, entrances and shared spaces.
• Empty waste and recycling where required.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene consumables.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas.
• Complete cleaning records and checklists.
• Report hazards, maintenance issues or stock shortages.
• Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures.
• Support wider site cleaning activities when required.

We're looking for Site Hygiene & Facilities Operatives who take pride in maintaining high standards across our production support areas and shared facilities.

This role focuses on keeping welfare areas, communal spaces and site facilities clean, organised and compliant with company standards.

The Role

Working across our Sefter Farm site, you'll help maintain a clean and hygienic environment for colleagues, visitors and operational teams.

You'll be responsible for routine and scheduled cleaning across a variety of locations while ensuring cleaning standards remain consistently high.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning welfare facilities, changing rooms and communal areas
• Maintaining toilets, washrooms and rest facilities
• Cleaning offices, corridors, entrances and shared spaces
• Emptying waste and recycling where required
• Replenishing cleaning and hygiene consumables
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas
• Completing cleaning records and checklists
• Reporting hazards, maintenance issues or stock shortages
• Following COSHH guidance and Health & Safety procedures
• Supporting wider site cleaning activities when required
