Job summary

Leap29 is seeking a Site HSE Advisor to support EPIC project phases for BP NEP/NZT carbon capture work. You will lead safety management activities on site, conduct inspections, manage risk assessments, JSA, and permit to work processes, and drive HSE improvements with subcontractors.

The role is a 12-month contractor position outside IR35, based on Teesside, with UK-residency requirements. Start date ASAP; extensive on-site collaboration across design, construction and operations teams is

Qualifications

• NEBOSH diploma or equivalent in HSE or engineering.
• Significant Oil & Gas onshore project experience.
• Experience with permits to work, JSA and risk assessments.

• Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training
• Conducting inspections, monitoring subcontractors, and ensuring equipment compliance
• Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
• Overseeing Permit to Work systems and hazardous material controls
• Reporting HSE performance, tracking KPIs, and supporting investigations
• Promoting environmental compliance and sustainability on site

Purpose of the position

As Site HSE Advisor you will report to the Field HSE manager. You will provide support to ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the safety management system throughout the engineering and development phases (EPIC Projects) of our BP NEP / NZT carbon capture projec

Responsibilities
