Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an experienced Site HSE Advisor to support a major energy infrastructure project in the UK. You will drive health, safety and environmental performance across EPIC phases, leading inspections, audits and risk assessments.

The role is a full-time contractor Outside IR35 with a competitive day rate and an ASAP start. You will work on decommissioning and carbon capture activities, collaborating with construction and engineering teams to uphold high HSE

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification is required.
  • A related degree in Health & Safety or Engineering is preferred.
  • Several years' experience in Oil & Gas or major construction.
  • Experience supporting onshore construction and CDM knowledge.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across the site through workforce engagement and training.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits and site monitoring activities.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with project HSE requirements.
  • Ensure equipment and site activities comply with relevant legislation and project standards.
  • Prepare, review and support risk assessments, JSAs and safe systems of work.
  • Oversee Permit to Work (PTW) processes and hazardous material controls.
  • Monitor and report HSE performance, including KPIs and leading indicators.
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote environmental compliance throughout the project.

Start Date: ASAP

Recruitment ARM is recruiting for an experienced Site HSE Advisor to join a major energy infrastructure project supporting decommissioning and carbon capture activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environmental performance throughout the engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) phases of a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture across the site through workforce engagement and training.
  • Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits and site monitoring activities.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with project HSE requirements.
  • Ensure equipment and site activities comply with relevant legislation and project standards.

About You

You will be an experienced HSE professional with a strong background in the Oil & Gas or major construction sector.

Essential Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification.
  • Qualification in Health & Safety, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Several years' experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Experience supporting onshore construction projects.
  • Knowledge of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
  • Experience with site surveys, investigations and construction safety management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting project teams to achieve high HSE standards.
