Syme Drummond Ltd. is seeking an HR Adviser for a nine-month maternity cover at the Tullamore site. The role is predominantly site-based, with four days on site and one day from home, blending a generalist remit with local HR leadership.

You’ll provide practical HR guidance to leaders and staff, covering employee relations, absence management, recruitment, and development, while collaborating with the broader HR team for support and escalation as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Must have HR adviser/generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Experience handling employee relations, absence management, recruitment, and lifecycle tasks.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing/operational environments is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Provide practical HR guidance to site leaders and staff across all HR domains.
• Manage recruitment from requisition through to offer.
• Support employee relations matters and formal processes.
• Collaborate with managers on absence management and day-to-day people matters.
• Coordinate local learning and development activities.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and events.
• Monitor HR metrics and use data to identify where support is needed.
• Contribute to local HR projects and process improvements.
