Job description

MCR Property Group is a leading independent real estate investment and development company with a strong UK presence and offices in key cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow. We focus on developing new residential and industrial projects while managing a diverse portfolio of approximately 5,000 residential plots and commercial/industrial assets exceeding £2 billion in value.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete various construction tasks independently as required for the project
• Perform general maintenance and repairs across the construction site
• Assist with site preparation and clean-up when required
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Respond to immediate site needs and urgent repair requirements
• Support the Project Managers when required
• Complete snagging work and finishing details
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Keep records of completed tasks
• Follow all health and safety protocols
• Assist with material handling and organisation when needed

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction/maintenance roles (minimum 2 years)
• Multi-skilled with abilities across various trades (carpentry, basic plumbing, general building work)
• Experience with breaking out/cutting slabs, installing handrails and similar construction tasks
• Competent in using power tools and construction equipment
• Valid CSCS card
• Basic understanding of construction site operations
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Full UK driving license

Tools & Equipment

• Must have own basic tools
• Specialist tools will be provided by the site as required

Working Conditions

• Primary base: Oxford House, Aylesbury, HP19 7BU
• Willingness to travel to other sites occasionally required
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Potential for occasional weekend work during critical phases
• Physically demanding role requiring lifting, carrying, and working in various positions
