Job summary

McAllister A Vortex Company are seeking hardworking and reliable General Operatives to join our growing team across London. The successful candidates will assist with drainage, utilities, and infrastructure works, supporting site supervisors and groundworks teams.

We value safety, teamwork and a proactive attitude. Applicants should hold a Valid CSCS Card and a Full UK Driving Licence and have experience in construction or related fields.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in construction, civil engineering, utilities or groundwork projects.
• Strong understanding of health and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with drainage, and utility installation works
• Supporting excavation and groundwork activities
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely around site
• Assisting plant operators and skilled trades where required
• Maintaining site cleanliness
• Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
• Assisting with temporary works, and traffic management activities
• Working as part of a team to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
• Carrying out general labouring duties as directed by site management

Street works / NRSWA qualification
