Working collaboratively with key stakeholders and delivery partners, you will help ensure initiatives are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, while meeting agreed budgets, timelines and performance targets.

Your impact

This is not a traditional end-to-end project management role. While you will take ownership of projects and initiatives, the role is equally about identifying opportunities, bringing people together, influencing positive change and turning sustainability ambitions into meaningful environmental improvements. You will be a passionate advocate for sustainability, using your knowledge, initiative and influence to make a tangible difference across the organisation.

You will provide day-to-day leadership and coordination across environmental and sustainability initiatives, driving performance against key metrics, managing risks and dependencies, and supporting successful implementation.

You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement, challenge existing ways of working and work with stakeholders to develop practical solutions that reduce environmental impact and support the organisation's wider sustainability ambitions.

Success in this role will require more than technical and project management capability. You will demonstrate a proactive, collaborative and purpose-driven approach, taking ownership, building strong relationships and role-modelling the behaviours needed to influence change. You will be comfortable working across organisational boundaries, engaging stakeholders at all levels and using your passion for sustainability to inspire action.

For the awareness of internal applicants, this role is a JFF level 6. This position is predominantly site based in Yeovil, with occasional working from home.
