Job summary

Mactech Inspection Ltd. seeks a Site Facility Manager for the Hinkley Point C project in Somerset. The role leads the planning, mobilization, and ongoing management of temporary site infrastructure, including offices, workshops, storage, utilities, and safety compliance.

The role collaborates with the Technical, Purchasing, and Site Administrative teams to ensure uninterrupted operations and efficient use of space and services on a large-scale industrial site.

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification in General Services, Facility Management, Technical Building Management, or Civil/Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience on large-scale industrial construction sites (nuclear, petrochemical or major infrastructure).
• Experience managing site facilities (base camps), temporary utility networks, and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan mobilization and layout of temporary site facilities (offices, workshops, storage) and oversee utility connections.
• Coordinate access and interface with end client facilities (canteen, changing rooms) as SPOC.
• Oversee maintenance and supplies for furniture, IT, cleaning, and consumables; adapt facilities with project progression.
• Ensure compliance with site EHS rules and optimize processes and costs.
