Job summary

Häfele UK is offering a 15-month Site Facilities Apprenticeship (Property Maintenance) based at Rugby Head Office. The role combines workplace learning with college attendance and two-day workshops, with a view to possible permanent employment on successful completion.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in maintenance across multiple trades and learn about facilities systems while balancing college work and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/5 or equivalent, or willingness to complete Functional Skills.
• Good communication with colleagues, contractors and visitors.
• Basic IT skills and ability to keep accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
• A practical approach with interest in maintenance or facilities management.
• Health and safety awareness in a busy workplace.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation and maintenance of site facilities to keep environments safe and well-presented.
• Assist with planned and reactive maintenance across offices, warehouse and external areas.
• Participate in painting, decorating, carpentry, plumbing and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Help maintain facilities systems including access control, CCTV, fire and intruder alarms.
• Support health, safety and compliance activities and maintain records.
• Assist with facilities administration, service visits and stock control.
