Job summary

Enva Group is seeking a Site Fabricator / Welder for our Colwick site to support maintenance, fabrication, and repair of plant equipment and container stock. You will work in a busy industrial environment on reactive and planned maintenance, helping minimize downtime and ensure safe operations.

The role requires MIG welding experience and a practical, safety-conscious attitude. Flexibility for overtime and shutdown work is expected as part of shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabrication and welding within heavy industry or a similar environment.
• MIG welding experience.
• Experience working on plant equipment, conveyors, or industrial machinery.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic Maths and English skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime and shutdown work where required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fabrication and welding repairs on plant equipment and container stock.
• Support planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown activities across site.
• Fabricate components including guards, brackets, wear plates, and reinforcement works.
• Carry out hard facing and repair work on plant and equipment as required.
• Support plant shutdowns, maintenance projects, and site improvement activities.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and consumables to a high standard.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices at all times.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to support site performance.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure compliance with company procedures.
